A red Peugeot has been left in Appleby cemetery at the side of the cemetery building and it has been there for over a week. I checked and it has been taxed and has an MOT so possibly it was stolen before it was left there.

Pot holes, Station road near Friary Fields entrance, 14th April
Reported this problem 10th feb FMS5558739 Now with all the rain it has washed tarmac out even more so pot holes are getting bigger and no way of missing them. Also water got under tarmac a little further up road past Garthead rd entrance but before station entrance and made this uneven m, just a matter of time before this starts to come away as well.

Several deep potholes on near side of road near High House farm., 3rd March
These holes have been here for several weeks and are becoming larger. They are almost unavoidable if there is a vehicle approaching from the opposite direction.

Station road developing large potholes, 10th February
The weather (frost and rain) has washed the tarmac off the road and how it is developing large potholes. Also tarmac lifting and becoming uneven on a different part of the road.

Fallen fence which is starting to infringe on the road, 12th January
The fence has been in a bad state of disrepair for a while now, but many of the posts have actually completely fallen over. It is the barrier between Roman Road and the A66, and that area frequently has livestock moving, especially during Appleby Fair, so the lack of separation between the two roads is a cause for concern.

Tree branch down that might block road, 28th December
There's a tree branch down on the Roman road near the underpass on the corner. it is still attached to the tree but in time it might break away and fall into the road

Fence is down in places and is leaning into the road, 28th December
The roadside fence is down and missing in places plus what is there is broken and leaning in towards the road, which will be a problem for vehicles and people who walk this road.

A66 bypass safety fencing fallen over and requires replacing, 30th October
A66 bypass safety fencing has fallen over and requires re fenced. Initially reported to National highways Dec 22 who informed me it was Cumbria County Councils responsibility. I have reported twice to the local council who have stated that the fence is the responsibility of the national highways

Defective fencing, 27th October
Missing panels and minor movement in some posts, P&W fencing further up is leaning out onto Roman Road. See also report FMS5143087. I can send photos if required but this reporting system doesn't give the option to attach.

Worn Out 'Disabled' Road Markings, 1st October
The three disabled road markings outside the Post Office on Boroughgate, Appleby, have worn out, so much that drivers are possibly unaware that they are parking in a space reserved for disabled badge holders.

Rosd flooded, 20th September
This has happened a few times recently. The culvert crossing under the road at the top of the hill must be blocked again, allowing water to run down the road side and accumulate at the lowest point.

Double yellow lines obscured, 22nd May
Dead leaves are covering the double yellow lines on west side of the road so it is not clear where they end, making legal parking more difficult.

When driving towards Appleby on 27th of February, spotted a deceased badger on the LHS of the A66 – between the last Crackenthorpe turn off and before the dual carriage way
