Traffic lights not working at night, 30th April
The traffic lights when you are travelling on the roundabout west to east are not timed correctly or not sensing vehicles at night. The set of lights that are the issue are the ones that hold you back to let the southbound traffic come off the M6. The M6 exit lights permanently stay on green and the roundabout lights stay permanently on red. This has been going on since late last year and people tend to end up jumping the lights because otherwise they end up sitting there waiting for 15 minutes. On Monday 29th April at around 1.30am we sat for 5 minutes with a Police car sat in the next lane - in the end the police car put on their blue lights and blocked the roundabout to enable us to move. This needs sorting or there will be an accident when someone jumps the lights and doesn't see someone coming off the motorway at speed.

Traffic lights timing fault, 21st April
Traffic lights on roundabout J40 Penrith, the lights immediately before the turn in to Penrith which controls traffic on the roundabout merging with traffic leaving the M6 Southbound (NY [phone removed]). Frequently in the mornings at 05:50-06:00 the lights remain on red for several minutes, the next lights around cycle several times. On every occasion vehicles inevitably drive through the red light after waiting for a long time, this could lead to an accident with faster moving traffic merging from the motorway. The lights do change but it takes a long time and by this point numerous cars have beeped horns and driven round you to go through the red light.

Traffic lights have gone off no electrcity, 8th April
Hello its carnage on victoria rd as the traffic lights are not working, it must be an electricity problem as some of the shops have lost power too

Light stays red for up to 5 minites, 30th March
Especially at night, the traffic light stays red, where the slip road of the M6 South joins the a 66. I’m not sure why it does this, perhaps the Sensor is only working on the left-hand lane or something.

Huge pothole on Raiselands Croft, 30th March
This pothole has been here for months and is incredibly difficult to avoid due to the on street parking in this area. It is also next to a relatively busy junction used by most traffic coming into and out of the area.

A66 not open delaying everyone westbound meant to be open at 6., 28th March
A66 westbound still shut after saying it will be open at 6 large queues need to get to work important meetings. This isn’t on no repots of road closure as it is open from 6am and needs sorting ASAP.

Traffic lights not changing., 27th February
Often travelling to work at 4-5am, the traffic signals to allow traffic off the roundabout onto A592 do not change for upwards of 15 minutes, and are constantly green for M6 SB Traffic to exit onto roundabout. No other signals have this issue.

Traffic lights on roundabout, 5th February
When traveling in the evening the traffic lights that cross Jct 40 south exit don't change for anything upto 7 minutes and vehicles getting fed up waiting are driving through which could cause an accident.

Traffic light problem M6 junction 40 roundabout, 3rd February
2 sets of traffic lights sticking on red on roundabout this morning. Giving priority to traffic exiting from both northbound and southbound. Traffic building up on roundabout. So bad this morning that traffic ended up going through red lights. This is going to cause an accident. This is the third time I have reported these light sticking on red but I have never received any response and it never shows as an issue on this sight.

Traffic lights at M6 Jct 40 northbound off ramp onto Skirsgill Roundabout, 2nd February
Traffic lights at night around 11pm/midnight regaulary sit on red (on the roundabout) for prolonged periods if time (green light on northbound off ramp). On Wednesday evening this was around 5 minutes before turning green. This was causing some vehicles/lorries to become frustrated and go through the red lights. This only seems to happen late at night, daytime running is fine. I have previously reported this via the hotline but see no outstanding job for this.

Traffic light issue on roundabout M6 junction 40, 28th January
Every night the traffic is held on red on the roundabout while traffic exits the M6 southbound. Traffic builds up on roundabout for no reason. Held last night at 20:40 for 4 minutes when no other traffic around. This is a recurring issue which I have previously reported.
