A series of deep potholes, 6th January
A series of the potholes has again emerged in this location some of which are adjacent to those repaired, the last time they fixed them.
The repairs are not lasting and are very unsatisfactory. This is leading to more potholes being created at this stretch of road including a rather lengthy deep trench, type pothole which is especially dangerous for cyclists and motorcyclists.
The job needs to be done properly the first time as these potholes were evident last time others were repaired but presumably because they were not “deep enough “ they were left to get develop bigger and deeper right next to others which were repaired.
This approach to highway repairs is happening all the time and is a waste of taxpayers money. Other authorities seem to do the job properly why cannot the council learn from others?

Resident parks here regularly obscuring oncoming traffic to cars exiting Cornerswell Rd, 23rd December
Resident probably doesn’t realise that they fully obscure on coming traffic but it’s a daily occurrence and oncoming traffic here is often going very fast, despite speed limit. It’s been going on for months. Photo taken from the junction with Cornerswell Road where one would wait to turn right. ( taken by my passenger)
