Falling tree, 11th March
Hello VoG, There's a fallen tree, leaning into the shared use path north west of Picketston Close. See attached grid reference for details.
This is an un-lit section of path, so it's particularly hazardous at night, as the branch is at neck-height, above the beam of a bike light.
Please could you arrange for your great colleagues to clear it?

Path (acre way) light, 23rd February
This light hasn't been been out of action for at least 5 months. This is after numerous attempts to get it repaired. The lane is used by children walking home from school, to the library and elderly people walking to the shops and library

Lamp no 6 not working, 16th January
This light has been out of action since before Christmas and is very dangerous for people working to and from St Athan village to attend local activities eg WI, Whist, Bingo, Zumba, Quiz night at the pub, to collect take away food etc. It also means that elderly people have to struggle in the dark to get their recycling out!!!

Leaf litter on shared use path, 5th December
Hello VoG Please see attached grid reference for location. The shared use path to the north of Aston Martin is covered in a large amount of leaf litter. This section of the path is unlit and is a real, slippery hazard especially for bikes and other people on wheels. Please can your great colleagues come and sweep it?

Both sides of the road where trees and Shrubbery are literally closing down the width of the road, making it difficult to pass on coming traffic. An accident waiting to happen.

Potholes all over, 28th September
Terible stretch of road in both directions of Rectory/Cowbridge Rd. Whole stretch is covered in potholes, cracks, iron work on show from where Llantwit Rd joins all the way to Bingle Lane.

Majority of the large trees the entire length of Blackbird Rd are becoming over grown, to the point large branches are starting to snap off with the slightest wind. Weeds and overgrowth encroaching footpath/cycle path, 23rd July
Between Picketston Close and Aston Martin entrance the path is overgrown with weeds and overgrowth from edges. In particular, weeds between kerbstones between road and path and brambles encroaching path. It has been poor for a while but worsened in the last few weeks with the warm and wet weather

Communications/ Power box knocked out., 17th February
Looks like some sort of power / communications junction box has been crashed into at the junction of Eagle Rd and eglwys-brewis Rd. I'm Concerned as there's now bare wires on show from where they where covered by the box, not sure if they're live or not .
