Resident burning mattresses on driveway, pollution, 13th April
The resident of this house has had fires previously that have smoked out the entire street with noxious fumes. The last fire was a pile of mattresses and binbags. This is completely unfair on other residents. The resident of the property has also cleared what is assume is the council verge and put down gravel to park their car there (black BMW), rather than using their own drive.

Park in disrepair, 27th March
Attended the park with my toddler and found litter, dog feces, weeds, and heavily rusted & worn down park equipment. As a council park this should be in this dangerous standard. The private park 5 mins away is in a much higher standard but isn't available to none Taylor whimpey residents.
What is VoG Councils plan for this park? Surely this is not audit ready.

Too many potholes to count, 31st January
The potholes are throughout the 20mph zone on Font-y-gary Road, Rhoose. Many are wide, joining with other potholes and some are many inches deep. Yellow spray paint that previously marked the potholes has faded but the potholes haven't been repaired and get worse. It is irresponsible for the council to waste taxpayers' money as they won't be able to claim they didn't know about the potholes should motorists submit compensation claims.

Hedge debris covers cycle route, 23rd November
Hello VoG
The hill out of the west end of Porthkerry Park, up to the airport is covered in hedge debris where the hedges have been recently cut.
This route is part of National Cycle Network Route 88 - a key part of bike infrastructure in the Vale.
Hedge debris is very effective at puncturing bike tyres.
Please would your great colleagues be able to run the sweeper down and up this hill? That would be super. Thanks in advance.

Fire in back garden 39 Smeaton Close, Rhoose, 10th October
I would like to make a complaint with the neighbour (Mr & Mrs Collins) that back directly onto us at 39 Smeaton Close. At 3.30pm today they started a fire in the back garden. The smoke was very thick and the smell was unbearable. We are currently undergoing building works and our builders had to pull off site. Due to the extent of the works the smell has now come into our house through the floorboards of the open building works which is great for my son's asthma. I'm sure the surrounding neighbours will agree that all of our washing is now smoke damaged from this incident. Also there house backs onto Celtic Way Open space (bowling green and park) this is totally unacceptable behaviour not to mention the environment.
