Regular fires, 1st August
This morning at 7.10am there was a very strong smell of a fire in which we had to close all our windows - which isn’t ideal in this warm weather!. I also had washing out in which I had to bring in and re-wash.
On investaigation the fire was from Aderyn Cat resort, Port road, Rhoose CF62 3EG. A resident rang the cattery and the fire was put out.
I regularly walk past this property in the day and they are regularly having large fires which creates a lot of smoke.
This isn’t ideal in a resident area and there are concerns to the environment.

Pothole on the Airport roundabout, 8th January
A horrendous pothole has appeared right on the St Athan exit of the airport roundabout. There's no getting away from it due to its positioning. It's potentially damaged my car, will have to check in the morning. If it hasn't damaged mine it won't be long before it causes damage to other vehicles.

Huge potholes, 31st January
This route is the route that I’ve been forced to take from the a 48 as the Llantrithyd lanes are so dangerous they are practically impossible to pass due to numerous potholes however the potholes on this roads are now becoming even more dangerous some of them are 2 m long by a metre wide by about 6 to 8 inches deep there is probably 20 or more extremely large potholes along this road going towards the Barry Road/airport the sides of the road are crumbling away and the tractors make the holes deeper

A large trailer has been left at the side of the road., 5th September
A large trailer has been left at the side of the road (country road) in a necessary pull in spot and it is quite difficult to pass, noting that a lot of dog walkers use that road and it is very dangerous.
It has a note saying it will be collected on 20/08, but it is still there some weeks later. Please can it be removed as this is a predominantly elderly/retired area of the Vale of Glamorgan.
I think a wheel is off or missing.

Pavement outside the last house in the village are in very bad condition., 15th July
The pavement has vehicles stopping on it to give way to other vehicle coming in the opposite direction. One slab is roughly 2" above the next one. The council remove the slabs in front of the 2 other houses and tarmacked the pavement and this to be lasting longer. Why they didn't do it all, I have no idea.
