The green, Ashley. Due to large amount of heavy lorries as a result of extensive building works at a nearby property the road has subsided in several places and a water leak has been reported to Anglia water. I feel that winter and frost arrives the road will be dangerous due to pooled water and ice. Could the road be inspected and the subsidence dealt with?

Illegal parking of cars, 19th June

Fri, 19 Jun 2009 15:41:59 +0100
52.2266041704821 0.483767386629494

The Highway Code clearly states (242) that you MUST NOT leave your vehicle or trailer in a dangerous position or where it causes any unnecessary obstruction of the road. Near the junction of Church Street and Newmarket Road, a number of cars (presumably of the local residents) are parked both on the bend and way too close to the junction of the main road. The cars in question are a new white Ford Ka, a silver Ford Escort and blue Peugeot 307 (though i have noted a number of other cars parked around there). I have reported the matter to Cambridgeshire Constabulary, but as the cars are generally parked overnight, they are presumably gone during the daytime when a PCSO attends.
