Missing wooden post (pedestrian safety post), 16th May
The wood post is rotten and needs to be replaced asap. This issue has already been reported but the council has not yet completed the work to remove the rotten wood in the pavement and replace with English oak (council needs to make sure that no sap is present on the post or it will rot again).

Iron railings need to be repaired, 8th May
The iron railings bordering the memorial garden in between Bury & Fordham road’s Newmarket are in urgent need of repair. You can see from the photos that 1. vital steel fixings are missing!; plastic zip ties have been used as a ‘temporary repair’! 2. The iron fence is leaning over in several places. 3. The paint is missing in places; therefore the painting needs to be restored to the original colour on the date they were installed. 4. Some of the Irving railings are damaged (bent) and need to be straightened.
Can you please arrange restoration of the war garden railings to be completed asap and before 11 November 2023 (armistice anniversary) at the very latest.
