Felled tree is obstacle across a public right of way!, 20th September
Several trees have been felled along the Devil’s ditch near to the Barbara Stradbroke Avenue, next to a nearby house (July Lodge).
Can you please undertake a site visit and arrange for the felled tree to be cut-up and removed from the PROW asap.
Ps there are other locations along the Devil’s ditch where the trees need to be cutback significantly otherwise people will find it difficult to access the route of the Devil’s ditch between Wodditton and Reach.
Many thanks.

Trees have been pushed over by mechanical tractor to block a public right of way!, 11th March
Someone has used a mechanical agricultural vehicle to break tree branches so that they fall across the route of a public right of way along the route of the Devil’s ditch.
Please visit asap and clear the blockage to the PROW asap. I think the damage might be related to hedge trimming being undertaken by the nearby property.

The lights for the horse crossing points are dangerous, 2nd May
The new lights show green yet the horses cross when it is red for them. This appears to be because the switch cannot be operated from horseback. Can the lights be disabled until this is resolved? At the moment cars are seeing a green light but strings of race horses are crossing regardless.

Unbelievable amount of rubbish - needs a skip to clean up!!!, 27th January
The laybays along this road need to be removed because vehicles drivers are creating a significant environmental problem caused by dropping litter and rubbish that they need to take home!
The bins should be removed to stop encouraging people to litter the countryside and this will reduce the significant ongoing cost of environment waster cleaners!

Large indentations on grass verge, 1st February
There are several very large and deep indentations on the grass verge at various positions along the road. The main areas of concern are on the grass verge heading towards Newmarket shortly after the roundabout with horse statue on.
The indentations are so deep that a vehicle could damage the underside of their car and the council or responsible body would be liable makingbgood the damage.
The inflations could very easily by filled by levelling the adjoining soil / turf.
