Blocked Stream/Potential Road Flooding, 5th December
The stream that runs under the footbridge has been blocked by a downed tree, this has progressively resulted in the stream becoming dammed, backing the water up at the road bridge crossing on the junction of School Lane & Water Lane where the road has come close to flooding during heavy rains.

Car repeatedly parking in residents car park, 19th November
Car repeatedly parking in residents car park, leaving it there the whole weekend to get the train from Newport Station. This is resident parking, should be using the station car park.

Damaged road sign on the corner of the authorised access only junction off Wicken Road, CB11 3UE, 11th April
Went to visit the bridge on Wicken Road on 11/04/2022, noticed when walking down Wicken Road that a sign that notes authorised access only has been damaged. Not sure how long this has been like this but wasnt there on the last visit to the bridge a few months ago. The metal post holding the sign is completely knocked over and is bent. The wiring for the light at the top of the sign is also exposed and has been damaged with the signpost.

Footpath in dangerous condition, 17th October
This was reported 3 years ago and nothing do the path is uneven and dangerous, an elderly lady fell over due to the unevenness this is not safe, weeds and roots have opened the pavement in one corner a section 1m x 40cm has no tarmac

Potholes all along this road which is a single narrow lane with occasional passing bays which are not maintained and no warning signage at any point. Potholes are bad., 11th September
A narrow lane which two cars cannot pass with no warning signage and passing bays in very poor condition, potholes common. The state of this road from Rickling to Wicken Bonhunt is shocking.

Path has disintegrated, 26th February
After several flood issues from Wicken Water and blocked drains this winter, cars have been driven over the only footpath on the B1038 through Wicken Bonhunt next to Wicken Water. Consequently the path has been completely washed away leaving a dangerous tarmacadam sharp edge instead of a smooth walkway.

Water main leak near bus stop sign., 9th November
There has been a constant stream of water from a drain cover for some time, its been running across the pavement and down School Lane making a mess of the road and presenting a risk to both pedestrians and road users now we are starting to see frozen temperatures. Being directly outside Newport School by the bus stop I'm surprised it has not been addressed

A resident reported to me that while walking her dog, her foot tripped on this exposed manhole, causing her to fall onto the highway and damage her knee. It’s on B1038 Wicken Bonhunt between Howlands Farm Cottage and the farm gate., 15th June

Parking on the pavement on a junction, obstructing view in and out of the Spinney, 3rd May
Parking on a pavement, at the entrance to the spinney London Rd Newport, blocking the safe entrance and exit from the spinney. This is a recent occurrence and continues due to the owner of the car recently moving into the house at the entrance to the spinney. This has now become a permanent obstacle over the last month.

Continuous anti-social parking, 14th April
The cul-de-sac at the end of Cherry Garden lane is being used more and more for parking, blocking in residents and causing arguments amongst residents. Where people have tried to park 2 cars to a drive some still overhang the close blocking in cars and some residents have been parking across the road (not on their drive) in an attempt to avoid being blocked in and as a result blocking in others, and in some cases parking 3 cars in a line to the drive. The over flow car park is being turned into houses. There is a large concreted area at the end of the road which if used could help with giving more parking space. The situation has been getting worse over the last year.
