Junction the Highway and Warren road extremely dangerous, 29th April

Mon, 29 Apr 2024 12:29:09 +0100
51.357264 0.108813

Trees require a substantial cutting back. Extremely limited visibility when turning from the highway to warren road. You can't see the traffic coming down warren road plus those cars drive very fast. Witnessed a near collision today. It needs urgent and regular cutting back as the trees will only continue growing in the summer. This has previously been reported on several occasions.

Speed bump hazard, 28th April

Sun, 28 Apr 2024 22:36:57 +0100
51.373517 0.097768

When approaching the roundabout from the High Street direction, the road passes over an elevated speed table adjacent to Orpington Village Hall. The approach to this speed hump (southbound), near the pavement edge of the road has been sinking and degrading for an extended period of time. However, it's been damaged further following recent rains, and the level of degradation now poses a serious hazard to cyclists - the dip is significant and also hard to avoid. Furthermore, the level of water that pools in the dip is now soaking the pavement (and pedestrians) - when a bus hits the defect in rainy weather water and grit is thrown across the pavement for as much as two metres. This is evidenced by the pile of mud, from the road foundation, that can be seen each time the pavement dries out. Please can this be considered for an expedited repair given the specific hazard to cyclists.

Graffiti and Rubbish, 27th April

Sat, 27 Apr 2024 13:30:59 +0100
51.373328 0.086241

Hi, there was a previous report last year about reporting and the team came to paint over it. There has been some further graffiti in this alleyway now, and a lot of rubbish is dumped here - making it feel unsafe when coming home from the station. Please could this be investigated? Additionally, there seems to be a large amount of cracking of the concrete and a barrier has recently been erected in the alleyway which stipulates "danger". Please could you confirm why this is? Is the alleyway collapsing due to the development? Thank you
