Dear Sir or Madam Today come home to discover, based on a complaint 4 wooden posts have been concreted into the green outside my home. I immediately called your department to find out why this had been done and why outside my house only? I know for sure the green outside my door is not the only damaged green. The gentlemen confirmed my thoughts that a complaint had been received from a neighbour , implying the damage was due to "Someone constantly driving over the green" I can only assume it meant we had caused the damage as the posts are outside our home.
I explained that the reason for the damaged grass was due to lorries and skips coming in and out when our neighbour was doing major renovation over a long period of time, who has now sold his house and moved. Sadly we were not given the opportunity to explain why the grass outside was damaged and even give us the option to repair the grass, eventhough if was not our fault. Infact the grass is now in a much better state than it was at the time the renovation was going on. Apart from making us feel like we are guilty of the grass damage it looks awful. My real concern is the cars,vans, refuse collectors etc, are constantly up and down this busy narrow road , ofter used as a short cut from traffic. a In addition, we have a school just further down our road with parents parking their cars. This will cause accidents, especially in the winter when its gets dark early .The posts will not be visible, Drivers can be impatient waiting for car and often drive on the edge of the green.May I please request you make another site visit, where I will be happy to meet. I say all this based on my knowledge of the problems we a see day to day. Mr Hass

Overhanging shrubs into Close, 16th May
The shrubs along the side of Baytree Close are overhanging. As the Close is very narrow, this is causing a problem for vehicles entering and leaving the Close. Also the area hasn't been weeded for several months. As this seems to be an ongoing problem, I wonder if there is a longer term solution? Could the shrubs been pruned and the height reduced much more than is normally done?
