A hedge in the front garden of 1 Landau Terrace is partially encroaching on the narrow piece of pavement outside the property - the pavement here along Croydon Road is quite narrow. This is incredibly dangerous as the pavement is near the bus stop used by students at the nearby school. Please can it be cut back asap before a terrible accident happens.

Potholes everywhere, 1st May
The road from Holwood farm shop all the way into Rookery Road is riddled with pot holes. They are everywhere. Some are getting increasingly large and are also a danger to cyclists. Take for example where it floods in rainfall just along from Holwood; the road floods and there is a big hole that is then obscured from a rider’s view. Closer to Downe there are many exceedingly large holes especially at the side of the road and again are a particular danger when two cars or a car and a 146 bus pass. Please can the whole stretch of road be checked and all holes marked for fixing before there is an accident. Thank you

Road defects, 1st May
Starts Hill Road surface falling apart with large holes and gouges on either side of Lovibonds at traffic islands. Reported many times before but just getting worse because of heavy contractor vehicles on site due to Gas Repair works. Very DANGEROUS and needs attn NOW.

The whole of Shire Lane needs to be inspected by Bromley Council, You will then realise how dangerous this road. The potholes which have been reported to you on many occasions have now amalgamated into one. You report that these have been fixed, they really have not. Please inspect this road urgently

Public tree lifting pavement and requires pruning, 30th April
Public tree along Cheyne Close is lifting the pavement and requires pruning. The tree is overhanging private property. The tree is dropping leaves, twigs and branches onto the pavement and private driveway below. Because of the lifted pavement, damage has been done to the phone line box fitted in the pavement. Surface water runs off the lifted pavement into the private driveway. Pedestrians using the pavement find the lifted nature very dangerous and unstable. On several occasions pedestrians have used the driveway of 1 Cheyne Close instead of the pavement.

Major damage to tree during verge maintenance, 29th April
Damage to a street tree, caused last Thursday, 25th April. As you can see, a large chunk of bark has been broken off. The tree is outside No 9. We all like to see our streets being cared for, but it’s pointless to plant new trees (we have several newly planted) if they are going to be mown into and strimmed by the people who should be caring for them.
