7 significantly dangerous potholes at the beginning of Hilldale Rd. One is over a foot in diameter and very deep, a real danger to both motorists but especially cyclists., 4th April

These potholes have been reported previously and were inspected by NSC over 6 weeks ago and highlighted for repair. Since then they have worsened and the original markings applied have worn away and disappeared. The road represents a serious hazard as many of the holes cannot be avoided due to parked vehicles.

The are a large number of deep potholes between the roundabout at the top of road and the church at the bottom. Due to the number of potholes it is very difficult to avoid all of them meaning that they are increasing in length, width and depth as more vehicles drive over them. This section of the road needs re-surfacing immediately but in the meantime please provide an address where invoices can be sent for any vehicle damage caused by the potholes.

HIlldale Road has become pothole central and is posing a serious threat to vehicles and possibly pedestrians crossing the road at night in the absence of street lights. The current process of patch filling is neither economic or sensibly as the problem reappears every year.

Pavement needs resurfacing, 30th July
When the recent Station Road works took place (to install the new crossing and complete maintenance to the existing pedestrian crossing) this piece of pavement was covered with material, which had the appearance of compacted mud. It is now uneven and sprouting grass.

Illegal work completed by resident who is building a property, 23rd June
Michael SPRING has completed illegal road works to both the road (A370) and the pavement outside 128 Farleigh road. He has dug up the road and pavement in order to connect gas/electric and water to his mains in the house he is building. The house he is building is located in wasteland behind the row of houses
