There are a series of potholes here, including one large one, which can't be avoided when traffic is coming in the opposite direction. It is also on a slight bend making it hard to see if there are any oncoming vehicles until the last moment, making it dangerous to try and avoid the pothole on this narrow road.

Dangerous lack of visibility, 24th September

Sun, 24 Sep 2023 08:43:45 +0100
51.445857 -2.75502

At the junction of Tower House Lane and B3128 (which is a hill start junction) there is very little visibility of cars approaching at high speed downhill due to an overgrown hedge, you only get a clear view of approximately 12 meters before cars approach at the speed limit of 50mph. There are overhanging branches on the other side too so turning right becomes a case of “hold your breath and hope you make it in time”! Even my daughters driving instructor admitted to hating having to turn right here. I have requested NSC to cut back the hedge but they say visibility is good!

Suggestion - dangerous junction, 5th July

Wed, 05 Jul 2023 17:57:47 +0100
51.447562 -2.71556

Junction of Portbury Lane and B3128 becomes dangerous during peak times. Can be very hard to turn right from Portbury Lane across quing traffic B3128 and the through flow of traffic on B3128. Though I hate to say it traffic lights may be needed or a roundabout ? Junction of Wraxall Hill 1/2 mile to the west is also dangerous when turning on to B3128 - limited vision and fast traffic both directions.
