Damaged 40mph road signs, 26th February
I reported this issue to East Sussex Highways on 12 February. I followed it up today because this safety issue has not been fixed. East Sussex Highways told me today it was the responsibility of "the local council" but National Highways has referred me back to East Sussex.

Traffic problems A259 & Crowlink Lane, 15th January
Cars being parked in Friston church and in the slip road off of the A259, which leads into Crowlink Lane, which then impacts traffic on the A259. This is a particularly messy junction anyway and is very dangerous for all road users. I have contacted East Dean & Friston parish council, over the past couple of years, but they are unable to help. My thoughts are that parking restrictions are needed in the slip road and that a roundabout is needed.

There has been no litter picking in Newhaven East Sussex for years., 9th January
I am a volunteer litter picker in Newhaven. I have collected over 70 bin liners full of rubbish in six weeks. There is litter pollution everywhere I go in Newhaven in huge volumes. The local authority have completely abdicated their responsibility to keep the streets, public footpaths and roadside verges clear of litter. There are rats visible in broad daylight in front of the retail park along Drove Road. I would like the whole of Newhaven to be litter picked to remove this rubbish, substantially reduce the rat population and restore the town to a decent state.
