Pennine Bridleway - danger to users. Immediate action required., 4th September
The track in this section has been reinforced by the addition of several loads of hardcore. The problem is that this "hardcore" is comprised of a lethal mixture that includes shards of glass and pottery and strips of metsl, all of which are easily capable of ripping the hooves of horses, the pads of dogs accompanying walkers, and shredding the tyres of mountain bikes, all of which are legitimate users of this public highway and right of way. Immediate action is needed to avoid serious injury occurring to animals or humans.

Overgrown hedgerows and detritis on the footpath from The Holme to the Fishponds on Burnley Road Cliviger, 13th July
The footpath is overgrown and full of detritus forcing pedestrians to walk in the road in an unrestricted carriageway. This has been in this condition for several months but due to renewed hedge growth is even worse. This runs from The Holme to the Fishponds on Burnley Road and is made worse to the fact that on this part of the carriageway there is only one footpath.

Cans and Lids From Recycling Collection Strewn Along Road, 14th June
Large number of cans, lids, tins and other recycling items strewn along the gutter and footway. This is entirely down to recycling operatives not ensuring that waste put out for collection is properly collected - they just leave it and it ends up looking appalling. Perhaps we ought to get Kingdom to follow them round and issue them with a £75 fine every time they drop stuff??

Incessant Noise from External PA, 21st May
Music playing constantly from external PA at Nino's Italian restaurant, particularly at weekends. Admittedly it isn't massively loud but it's incessant from noon to about 10:30pm. Attempts have been made to engage with the management of this establishment about it, but this usually meets with glib excuses and complete inaction.
