24 inch deep sink hole has appeared in public land., 8th April
A sink hole has appeared in the public land adjacent to my home. It is a bit worrying as it is around 24 inches deep and 24 inches across and it is only a matter time before someone falls down it. My dog has already fallen into hole and we had to take him to the vets to get checked out. There are a lot of young children play in this area and I would hate it for one of them to fall in the hole.

It is not always there - which indicates it is probably being used illegally on roads. ACTION PLEASE - and the yellow mini which has also been reported (many times) is still there.

The very harsh/drastic cutting of a RBC hedge., 6th March
** Asked to report this on behalf of at least several residents in Bentley Close. The very harsh/drastic cutting of a RBC hedge. 1. PROBABLY CANNOT BE 'FIXED' UNTIL AFTER ABOUT 5 YEARS GROWTH, or perhaps much longer. 2. A complaint has been recently made directly to RBC's Councillor Brandon Clayton - who holds the Portfolio for the Environment. 3. Councillor Clayton was not aware of the 'NHS' [The National Hedgelaying Society]. https://www.hedgelaying.org.uk/pg/contractors/main.aspx A local expert could have been asked to improve this hedge which is adjacent to an RBC Allotment Site. 4. One resident said that RBC should not 'butcher' (drastically cut) other hedges in the Borough. 5. At one time, this particular hedge was trimmed regularly and neatly - and sometimes given a nice tapered top - to the height of the adjacent allotment fence.

Cars parking on either side of road now on opposite side to my house there are yellow lines and a bus stop! (Birmingham Road Redditch) Cars by our house park so close to drop kerb that we can't see anything coming and there have been a few near misses with accidents as this is a busy road. Please if there is anything that could be done that would be great as I am learning to drive and can't even get out of our drive safely.

This New Wall is seriously limiting visability at this junction!, 13th January
Location: the corner house at the junction of Vicarage Cres. and Bromsgrove Rd. The problem: The resident/owner is building a very tall wall at the front of the house. Surely there should be a VISIBILITY SPLAY - and the wall must not be over a height of about 2.5 metres. RBC's Planning Dept. need to investigate this matter, and take enforcement measures. This is not the only place in Redditch where a front garden wall, fence, or hedge is far too high. ROAD SAFETY - visibility at junctions is important.
