The sign indicating the sharp bend on Alcester Heath at the turning for Whitemoor Lane going in to Sambourne has been driven in to and is now broken and on the other side of the road. This is causing a risk to drivers turn left off Whitemoor Lane onto Alcester Heath (B4090) as part of the sign is blocking the road and appears to have sharp edges which may damage cars/tyres. First spotted on Monday 7th October.

Absence of mirror poses a risk to cars turning right into Whitemoor Lane, 7th October

Mon, 07 Oct 2019 13:29:21 +0100
52.242753 -1.921196

Cars driving up Alcester Heath from Alcester and turning right into Whitemoor Lane have very little visibility of incoming cars driving down from the hairpin bend. This poses a risk to the hundreds of drivers who, like me, use Alcester Heath and Whitemoor Lane on a daily basis to take their children to school etc. Would it be at all possible to install a mirror at this junction, so that drivers would have a better view of the hairpin bend and therefore would be able to cross over Alcester Heath safely? I have witnessed many near-misses, a couple of which affected my family and myself directly, hence my decision to report this issue. Thank you.
