Double Parking Issue on Carlton Road and Whitehall Road, 21st April
I am writing to bring to your attention a pressing issue regarding the double parking problem on Carlton Road (B9 5ED) and Whitehall Road (B9 5EN).
As a dedicated home-to-school bus driver, contracted to Birmingham City Council for special needs children, I am deeply concerned about the safety hazards posed by the frequent instances of double parking on these two roads. Specifically, I encounter significant difficulties and safety risks when maneuvering around the double parked vehicles, particularly when picking up and dropping off children along Carlton Road (B9 5ED).
The obstruction caused by these inconsiderately parked vehicles not only jeopardizes the safety of the children I transport but also hampers the efficiency of my services. Therefore, I urge you to take immediate action to address this issue and enforce stricter parking regulations in the mentioned areas.
I believe that by implementing measures to deter double parking and ensuring compliance with parking regulations, we can mitigate the risks and enhance the safety of all road users, especially vulnerable individuals such as special needs children.
Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated, and I look forward to seeing tangible improvements in the parking situation on Carlton Road and Whitehall Road.
Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community.
