Dangerous dog attacking, 30th May

Sat, 30 May 2015 18:37:34 +0100
52.694381 -1.681141

Virtually every time I leave Manor Close for my daily walk I am attacked by at least one, sometimes two or more aggressive dogs belonging to an equally aggressive and hostile person living in a property at the very end of Manor Lane on the junction with Manor Close. These dogs have bitten me on numerous occasions, albeit without breaking skin, and I have video evidence of them completely loose (which contravenes the Dangerous Dogs Act) and aggressively snarling and encroaching upon me. I want something done about this as I am being terrorised every time I leave my Close. This issue has been going on for many months and has been reported to the police but little seems to have changed so far. I have reported it to the police again today, as it happened again this afternoon.

Litterings on Croxall Road/Main Street in Edingale, 13th September

Thu, 13 Sep 2012 08:47:30 +0100
52.707422942789 -1.6840611209256

Throughout the summer the main road through Edingale has been littered with big clumps of dung from the nearby pig farm which not only causes a continuous stench in the village, but also an increasing fly infestation, which is a health issue in itself. The latest littering is in the form of large quantities of straw, piling up on the side of the curb and blocking drainage holes in the road. This turns the "Best Kept Village 2012" into the best pig stye in the area, is unsightly and will cause a hazard for cars during the next rain falls. The people responsible for this mess should be fined the same way as any other fly tipper would, as I as a normal houseowner and high rate council tax payer of this village should not be paying for the clean up via my council tax. Please note that I have written an email to Lichfield District Council about this issue earlier this year, and have never received a response, which is highly disappointing.

There are others on the right hand side a little further out of Edingale. The edge of this road is breaking up under heavy farm machinery, and is becoming pothole alley!
