Bins left out for months, 2nd June
Owners and tenants should put their bins and bags onto their properties. I regard it as unacceptable to have a constant view of these bins in the street! The owners should be contacted and ordered to put the bins away! This is the second time that I’m reporting this problem.

Trailer loaded with rubbish. Bins left out, 19th April
Trailer taking up room. Unsightly nuisance. Weeds growing under trailer. Here for over two months. Coned off so occupying even more space. It’s unfair that all this room should be taken up in a street when the owner also has a car in the street. Outside of flats at top of Byron Road, bins have been left out for weeks now.

Uncut hedge and surrounding grass areas., 2nd October
We live at 32 Masefield Drive adjacent to the open land at Old School Walk and have a hedge which runs the length of our property border from the road to the garages at the end of Dryden Road (100ft in length). This hedge belongs to and is the responsibility of the Council to maintain however, this has not cut by the Council in around 10 years as we have maintained at the same time as maintaining the side in our garden. The grasss area adjacent to the hedge has only been cut to a point before the land slopes down to the hedge as can be seen from the attached photo's. In June 2021 when we last attempted to cut teh hedge from the Old School Walk side we had to cut back nearly 6ft high brambles and nettles in order to get to the hedge, let alone cut it!. Given this is not our responsibility and my husband is 77 years of age we would respectivefully ask the Council to start to maintain this hedge and surrounding grass areas to an acceptable standard.

Abandoned trailer piled with rubbish., 7th July
This trailer has been outside my front area , Nr 16 and my neighbours’ front window Nr 14 for two weeks now!! It belongs to a guy called Dean. I don’t know his surname unfortunately but he lives in Nr 4 flat on Byron Road. I see no reason why we should have to look at HIS rubbish! We own our properties and pay our rates!! He should be parking it outside his own flat, or better still, driving it to the recycling centre. He appears to have enough cars!! This is not the first instance of him parking this trailer filled with rubbish in the turning circle at the end of Byron Road cul- de -sac. Last time, he moved it within several days of parking it there. I am concerned that he may not take it to the recycling centre. I fear that he may be taking away other people’s rubbish, but this is only a suspicion. I would be grateful if you could look into the matter.
