Dangerous standing water, 27th November
There's standing water in this area which is difficult to see once it's rained. It's obviously a drainage problem, as it was there when the rest of the motorway was dry. This coupled with the bend is extremely dangerous, as I found out. There are 50mph signs a 1/4 mile before, so please observe or even better National Highways do something about it.

No cats eyes for slip road, 6th February
The slip road to junc 4 of Mt Northbound has been extended but there are no cats eyes on the lanes to indicate a change in hard shoulder to slip road junction entrance. So with the exit of the slip road around the corner from the start it's not clear that the slip road has started and could cause collisions.

2 lane road reduced to 1 lane. Verges damaged, 23rd November
For several weeks cars and vans have been parking on the verges running alongside Pepper Wood. The wide verge on the southern side is owned and kept in a tidy state by myself. In 2021 I had intended to spread wild flower seeds on this section. On Sunday the 22nd the situation intensified with vehicles reducing the road to a single carriageway. The road is used daily by heavy tractors and trailers and unless something is done an accident between vehicles is a likely outcome. Parking on the verges has been a problem, increasing in numbers, for at least the past six months
