Standing water in the road at/near junction of Astwood Lane and Sharpway Gate, 8th March
There is a problem with standing water, especially in cold weather when the water turns to black ice. This could be resolved very easily if the run-off channels were at the correct levels (and, thus, allowed surface water to drain into the ditch). The problem of ice on the road is compounded given the fact that this is a dangerous bend in the road where oncoming vehicles cannot be seen until the last moment.

Ineffective Speed Limit, 11th November
Thereis a 60MPH limit on this road which should be reduced. There is a dip in the road which, if drivers do not pay appropriate attention - causes a blind spot which has claimed lives in recent history. There should be a speed reduction to at least 50mph if not lower. Or, at least increase the duration of the double white restriction.
