As we’ve already reported the fence has been removed and moto -cross riders have access through the M6 into the fields and HS-2 sites. But they are now regularly gathering beneath the bridge and having fires. We were told several months ago that the issue would be addressed but is now much worse.

Potholes /Ridges from Around fort Dunlop heading towards Merry Hill Dudley, 10th April
Numerous dangerous potholes excess45 cm and ridges BOTH sides of M6 to an unacceptable level there need emergency repairs within one hour unless resolved I will forward complaint to Road safety organisations . They appear to start around M6 Newport Road onto Motorway heading towards Merryhill and the sand coming back from Merry Hill , extremely dangerous sections. Of motorway ever witnessed !! Fence damaged, 29th March
The fence has been removed for off road bikes to gain access to the field under the M6.we fear that it is a matter of time before there is a fire as they gather beneath the motorway

Black Plastic Boxes Kerbside., 23rd March
There are at least two large plastic boxes kerbside. I would assume they have flown off the back of an open skip vehicle. Further down the carriageway there is more debris etc. When wind picks up they will blow back into the carriageway.

Garden Rubbish Flytipped and Graffiti, 14th March

Parking issuses, 18th February
Vehicles park here for 10 to 12 hours and a second vehicle takes them to work (observed many times), this has been regular occurrence for many years. The vehicles block access for mobilty scooters and cause traffic issues. This road is a bus route.

Pothole on outside lane, 16th February
It's just after where the road maintenance workers are, just where the M42 J7 joins the M6 just after J4. There is a growing pothole in the outside lane, Northbound. This will eventually create an issue with tyres. Speed limit is currently 50mph for the workers.

Misleading overhead signs between J7 and J6, 2nd February
At approx 06:45 this morning travelling S/B I passed some physical temporary signs saying 50 mph for roadworks. Nearing J6 an overhead gantry said 60 mph. Then I passed another 50 mph sign. Then the next gantry said national speed limit. The third gantry I passed said 60 mph with a posted 50 mph temporary sign next to it.
Meanwhile while driving at 50 mph surrounded and tailgated by trucks clearly doing 60 mph or more.
This situation is confusing and unsafe. The variable signs should be switched off immediately so it is clear that the speed limit is 50 mph.
