Large poles under bridge, 28th April

Sun, 28 Apr 2024 10:19:40 +0100
52.407201 -1.967625

There are recurring potholes under the bridge on station road northfield. These have been reported on many occasions. The potholes are dangerous and unavoidable as the passage is very narrow so cars pass in single file. There is no space to avoid the holes. Please could this be looked at urgently. Mill lane also needs to be resurfaced as it is very bumpy, uneven and riddled with more potholes.

My partner lives at number 23 Irwin Avenue, B45 8QY.his is the red car in the drive. There are Branches overhanging it and we are constantly getting mess from the trees and if there was a high wind it could break off and damage the car. Please can this be addressed. Continued illegal parking by McDonald's delivery drivers, 15th April

Mon, 15 Apr 2024 00:17:22 +0100
52.396056 -1.996676

Still unacceptable behaviour from the delivery drivers ignoring the rules set out by the staff of mcdonalds longbridge. They have said they can't intervene but we could report it. The drivers refuse to use the car park and give all types excuses to why they are allowed. It can be up to 20 or more cars per night. The offences occur nightly after 10pm which is the time the delivery hub closes (which prevents them doing this during the day following years of campaigning from residents). I believe the only option now is to start fining them to demonstrate what happens if you regularly break the law regarding parking fully on the pavement.

Several large dangerous potholes, 13th April

Sat, 13 Apr 2024 09:09:59 +0100
52.393829 -1.953123

There are several potholes around the island (Man on the Moon pub island) located by the junction with Wast Hills Lane/Redditch Road (with Man on the Moon pub opposite). Potholes continue on the Redditch Road carriageway up towards the island at the top of Longbridge Lane on both sides. On the island, cars are slowing right down as these potholes, which cannot be avoided due to the size of them, will be damaging if driven at normal speed. For cyclists, they are dangerous. Driving along the carriageway towards the small island at the top of Longbridge Lane or away from the island towards the Man on the Moon pub island, there are several large, deep potholes which again cannot be avoided without swerving out into the lane of oncoming traffic. These potholes have been getting progressively worse over the last few months. It’s not the first time these potholes have been reported so somebody needs to take notice of what people are saying, who drove over these potholes every day before damage/accidents happen and compensation claims are submitted against the council who are ignoring these warnings!

Litter bin removed by council on Wed 10th April 2024. The bin next to the bus stop was emptied, put back then lifted up and thrown into the back of the refuse wagon. In under 24hrs the amount of litter around the area and at the bus stop is disgusting. Why would B’ham city council remove the bin?? Bizzare behaviour…..
