Black Bags left on street, 14th May

Tue, 14 May 2024 15:27:25 +0100
52.436788 -1.915593

The corner of Manilla Road and Dogpool Lane has bin bags left out every single week. These bags can be put out at anytime, and therefore can be in the street for 7 days until refuse collections on Wednesday. Bags are torn open and the rubbish spreads up the road; these bags contain cat litter and cat faeces, so pretty unpleasant and hazardous.

Rubbish in Malins Road Harborne, 14th May

52.455964 -1.946136

What is it abouit Malins Road that it's never free of litter. I walk along this street very regularly on my morning walk, and it never ever seems to be free of litter - in the gutters, all over the pavement, stuck in the grass verges on the right hand side as you walk from Metchley Drive to Metchley - as of this morning (Tuesday 14th May) I have never seen so much litter as there was today. It looks disgusting and I have given up picking it up myself as there's too much and I can't bend easily! Please could this issue be addressed - it really makes the street look very unkempt and I hope this issue can be addressed as soon as possible, please. Many thanks, best wishes.

What is it with Metchley Drive Harborne?, 14th May

Tue, 14 May 2024 14:40:52 +0100
52.455977 -1.947509

Please can you explain what it is with Metchley Drive Harborne - I walk down here very regularly on my morning walks and more often than not, there is rubbish everywhere, along the entire length of the street - from Leahurst Crescent all the way to Malins Road. It's disgusting - flytipping on corners, litter in the gutters, flytipping in the bushes on the left hand side as you walk towards Malins Road, litter in the grass verges on the right hand side, overflowing bins, litter on the pavement all round the bins ... it's never ending. It's as thouigh someone has emptied a few waste bins all over the street - and don't get me going about all the regularly occurring piles of flytipping .... Is there any way in which this can be dealt with please? The street looks so unkempt and in need of some TLC! I do hope that this issue can be addressed, please. Many thanks, best wishes,

Mon, 13 May 2024 20:42:27 +0100
52.446701 -1.945481

Outside number 285 Harborne Lane, Harborne is a collection of overflowing wheely bins and surrounding these bins, on the pavement is a huge amount of packaging, cardboard etc, which appears to have been flytipped. Please can this flytipping be removed as soon as possible, the wheely bins emptied and perhaps a conversation can be had with the residents of this short terrace of houses (not far from the Shell filling station on the same side of the road) about how they dispose of all their rubbish. It's disgusting, it smells (and no doubt attracts vermin) and makes the area look awful and unkempt. I hope this can be arranged for as soon as possible, please. Many thanks, best wishes. sorry no p hotograph.

Litter pick required in Grove Lane, Harborne, 13th May

Mon, 13 May 2024 07:51:52 +0100
52.449316 -1.956307

Please can a litter pick be arranged for Grove Lane Harborne (between Old Church Road and Quinton Road) - it was an absolute disgrace this morning (Monday 13th May 2024), not least because the litter bin hasn't been emptied for over a week and it is now just overflowing onto the pavement and vermin are now getting at it all. Please can this litter bin also be emptied far more frequently, not least because it's outside a mini supermarket and takeaway food establishment. Sorry, no photo, but I am sure you'll be able to identify this litter bin!
