2 drains completely blocked, 27th December
2 drains on opposite sides of road both blocked causing extreme flooding to road one on a corner which cars are having to go onto wrong side of road to avoid. The other is on road just outside our boundary and water is backing into our garden and causing flooding which almost got to our property today. These drains have been like this for years and never seem to be cleared. I’ve seen them checked once and can’t understand why no action was taken because they are very clearly blocked.

Roads are never gritted, 21st January
This is a main road with school buses and I rarely see a gritter and when I do it’s usually not spreading grit. I’d like to understand why this is not being treated. I appreciate that it is not a priority road but the frequency we see gritters is not acceptable

Unfit for purpose and dangerous, 2nd August
Diversion routes have not been signposted to allow traffic to avoid this unfit for purpose road section
Why have these roads not been closed until the road is repaired?
No warning – there are just some signs outlining 20 mph
Warning to cyclists, motorbike riders There is a massive amount of loose stones on the road. Not only is this a serious driving hazard, the loose stones are causing serious damage to vehicles (this as vehicles pass each other)
Not sweeping and cleaning the road after road maintenance is Gross Negligence and a blatant violation of the council's legal duty to make sure that the road is in a fit for purpose state before reopening for the public – thus preventing harm to persons and or property.
Immediate action required by the council - Close road until fit for purpose
Or place waring signs in advice of road construction warning the public that the road is until for purpose and advise an alternative route
Or immediately sweep the rood and remove the loose

Abandoned Isuzu, 4th January
An Isuzu Trooper 4x4 has been abandoned, sitting half on the road, half on the pavement next to the village gas tanks for over a week. It obstructs the fuel company from filling the gas supply and I'm concerned it poses a fire hazard being so close to the storage tanks. The vehicle is in a very poor condition, has a flat tyre, no tax disc and the number plates have been removed in an attempt to make it untraceable. The map shows the position as being on a track but this has since been tarred and, I believe, adopted by the council as part of the last phase of new house builds.
