With the recent rain I was out cycling and noticed that the two drains were blocked and there was a good amount of surface water which was creating puddles on what is a fast and dangerous road.

Numerous potholes and rough surface along the outer edge of both sides of the road, 13th May
Numerous potholes and rough surface along the outer edge of both sides of the road. As this is around the bend it causes increased risk of head on collisions as people move out to avoid damaging cars on the rough surface and potholes. This has been like this in excess of a year.

Speeding Traffic, 5th April
There is a large amount of traffic use the B9001 in the mornings and evenings. Sometimes the flow is constant. Due to the very long straight section of road before and after this point on the map, traffic goes very fast. I have returned from work on several occasions at 60mph on the straight to be passed by several cars very quickly. This makes it hazardous to turn right of the road into our drive as traffic have overtaken me even when indicting a right turn. A lot of times it is also hazardous to walk along this stretch of road to our local shop, and you have to do so in the farmers field. The area is in need of a speed restriction if possible. There have been numerous animals killed on this stretch of road, and a fatality when a car which was going to fast on stone chip resurfacing hit a neigbours wall. I notice an area at leylodge has a reduced limit, yet they don't even have a local shop or pub on the road side as we do. Please impose a speed restriction on this busy stretch of road before someone else is hurt.
