Potholes have appeared at the front of my driveway and are expanding due to the weather problems over the last month. These are becoming a problem for cars and other vehicles entering or parking at my property and will cause damage if not repaired., 20th November
The tarmac has been removed from an old patch outside Arcadia Aberdeen Road and is now beginning to eroded the support foundation structure of the road. As this a wash area towards a main drain as well it may cause issues later in the area.

Several really bad potholes, 19th December
This has been an ongoing problem for over a year. The holes are occasionally filled but soon reappear. The surface of the tarmac is now breaking up, and along that stretch of the road between the Bandley turnoff and the Bandley Mill are strewn with bad potholes now, some of them inches deep!

Hazardous loose sand, 22nd February
The council have spread massive amounts of sand on the pavement. Has any consideration being given to the use of pure rock salt following standard European practices instead sand.
No other European country uses sand as it is inaffective during cold weather and requires to be cleaned in the spring - it block drains and is dangerous when dry - when there is wind the sand can be blown into the eyes of any persons walking on these hazardous pavements
Given that these deposits are hazardous ie easy for elderly people to slip when do the council intend to send a sweeper to clean up this hazardous risk of loose sand?

No warning – there are just some signs outlining 20 mph
Warning to cyclists, motorbike riders There is a massive amount of loose stones on the road. Not only is this a serious driving hazard, the loose stones are causing serious damage to vehicles (this as vehicles pass each other)
Not sweeping and cleaning the road after road maintenance is Gross Negligence and a blatant violation of the council's legal duty to make sure that the road is in a fit for purpose state before reopening for the public – thus preventing harm to persons and or property.
