These trees are up rooted its just a matter of time before they come down. There is quite a few locals that can deal with these and have the insurance and equipment to do it but the road would need to be closed etc.

Large boulders on verge, 23rd December
Residents in the houses on the opposite side of the verge have installed large boulders to stop cars being able to pass on the verge. These stones are going to cause significant damage to vehicles using this road, especially in the upcoming inclement weather that occurs at this time of year. These boulders should not be on the verge given that the verge is owned by Transport Scotland and it out with the curtilage of the barn yard properties. The occupiers may not like vehicles using this area but it is a necessity in on country roads to be able to pass on these grass areas.

Large stones on road, 24th June
There are constantly large stones being dropped on the road from (possibly) a local quarry. I sustained over £1600 of damage to my car in January (granite rock went through the front grill, pieced an alloy, broke the radar , punctured two tyres which resulted in all 4 having to be replaced) and it has been reported to the police several times now that this is happening. Unsecured loads of lorries/tractors using the road as a cut through and due to the type of road they shed stones.
