Drain blocked and overflows when heavy rain
10th July
There's a drain just outside number 6 that fills up and overflows when raining. The drain in question has been deemed as though it is not council property in the past but it is not connected to her house as when the drain is looked down it does not go in to number 6 at all. Can this be looked in to and emptied out.

Removal of Grampian Housing owned grit bin
10th July
We have identified on your map that you apparently intend to remove grit bin central asset 235671 at Eigie Close, Balmedie, AB23 8SX. We believe this grit bin is maintained and filled by Grampian Housing Association and not the local authority. Our grit bins are marked with stickers indicating they are GHA property and should not be uplifted.

Gully problem
14th June
Gully/Drain - Critical drain due to road contours (confluence) and causes significant and dangerous flooding across Old Road Balmedie when blocked. Recent extreme shedding of pine needles has caused a blockage and the road flooded after heavy rain on Sat 14th June. This drain has caused problems in the past and contractors had to investigate and clear the drain upstream but it remains in a poor and precarious condition. I often have to clear it myself to prevent flooding. I can supply images of the recent event if required. The roadside approaches to the drain need cleared of the pine needles. In extreme conditions the road flooding can also get close to the adjacent property and extend right across the road to a significant depth.

Parked cars on corner near junction
6th June
Sadly most driver ps appear both unaware that they shouldnt park on corners and close to junctions. Drivers also appear to be incapable of parking on the nice wide straights of North Beach Road and walking a short distance.
Maybe double yellow lines would make them park more responsibility.
There is a longstanding problem of people cutting the corner coming from the beach in the transition from single track to single carriageway and swinging out to get a better view in the transition from single carriageway to single track at this corner
