Request for Advice or Information problem
5th June
Request for Advice/Information - I have already reported this fault but may not have managed to identify its exact location on your map. Apologies. Ref: 909693. Would the council consider doing something more than just this pothole please as the issue is caused by traffic on this road using this as an informal passing place ? It it used by lots of cars every day and any repairs so far are quickly destroyed. Thanks for your consideration in this matter.

Massive Traffic Queues Parkhill Junction
13th March
There are massive traffic queues even at 7 am on the A947 heading into Aberdeen this week (w/c 12th March) at Parkhill Junction. The traffic lights duration needs to be increased to allow traffic from Newmachar to flow correctly. This is a major thoroughfare into Aberdeen and is currently a frustrating bottleneck.

Bad practice
12th June
The Local authority has resurfaced this road ( with a thin layer of tar and stones) weeks ago but have not cleared the road of loose chips
This poor practice is exposing the motorist to a high risk of stone damage.
The road should be immediately swept to mitigate this risk.

Badly eroded road surface
5th February
There is a section of the marked road for several feet that is very badly potholed. A deeper pothole is now forming in the middle of this section and it is encroaching on the carriageway to such an extent that it is not possible to avoid it if there is oncoming traffic. Surrounding roads in the area were repaired several months ago but it appears this section has been overlooked and as I have to drive over it every day my car is suffering badly from continued impact with the damaged road surface.

Major Potholes
6th January
My wife has just returned home having hit a major pothole on the B997 south of Drumligair House on the south bound carriageway causing a bulge in the front nearside tyre which will have to be replaced tomorrow. I will also have to get the wheel and underside of car checked as my wife said the impact was significant. I have returned an measured the pothole at 5" deep and spans 56" in length and 19" in width. I have also photographed it as best i could in the dark.

Dog fouling in plastic bags
28th March
People have been picking up their dog fouling in plastic bags and leaving it lying on the walk way, hanging it up on trees or throwing it into neighbouring land. Other litter has been regularly dropped on the walk way. I have tried in the past to get dog waist bins and litter bins with no luck. I am fed up picking up other peoples rubbish especially dog poo in bags that stupid people leave. With better weather on the way this practice will increase and dont see why I am left to pick it up.
