Large, deep and extensive pothole, 2nd January
Large pothole beside 10 Inchgarth Road, Aberdeen, AB12 9NX near to Norwood Hotel. While driving along said road, my van struck and drove over an unavoidable, large and deep pothole. Instantly my rear, near-side tyre blew out along with fatally damaging my alloy wheel. The damage to this wheel/tyre meant that I had to mount the pavement, causing an obstruction to passing vehicles. As my vehicle doesn’t have a spare wheel and only had the standard factory supplied inflation kit, which couldn’t be used due to the severity of damage to both the tyres and wheels. Therefore I had to directly call a local recovery company to attend and remove my van from the roadway and take me home. I had to source a replacement wheel, pay for this and have the upset and disappointment of dealing with this myself. I have my own small business, which therefore lead me to be unable to work today. Directly after the incident, I called your emergency roads number to inform the local authorities of this pothole and to avoid any other motorists being involved with this. Unfortunately there was no response or answer from this number.
I then immediately completed the online roadside problem via the online portal.

Not Adhering To One Way Direction - Braeside Place, 15th September
There is an increasing number of vehicles ignoring the one way signs and travelling up the wrong direction. Delivery drivers, food deliveries, tradesmen and others. Braeside Place has two very sharp blind corners and traffic is travelling at speed against the flow of traffic. It is only a matter of time before there is a collision (if one hasn’t happened already?) Can you paint in large letters at the junction and along the road “One Way Only”? Maybe this would help? Thank you.

Pedestrian crossing constantly being blocked by parked vehicles, 30th August
This crossing just by Costa Coffe in Cults is being constantly blocked by vehicle that park there to visit local shops therefore making it impossible for people with wheelchairs, disabilities, young moms with prams and other people to cross. Daily there’s at least 20 vehicles parking there and I have seen several arguments between pedestrians and car owners at this spot.
