The large boulder is an obstruction and is potentially a danger should any vehicle need to exit the A59. For instance, in circumstances whereupon it necessary to make way for an emergency vehicle. Furthermore, the large boulder is not visible at night, as it is positioned immediately adjacent to the carriageway should a vehicle have to unexpectedly pull of the road at night it is a significant collision hazard.

Garage entrance two very large aggressive potholes., 31st August
At the turn off the A59 road into the area of the Texaco garage, and food shops, there are two very large potholes, that would be very damaging if hit. While not a road, it is a very high traffic area, and whoever is responsible for this area, needs to address them.

Repaired Road uneven and has dips and bumps, 2nd April
We have a major issue , when large vehicles , wagons , lorries go over the unevenly repaired road we get immense vibration throughout our property , which can be picked up by the seismometer we have put in our windowsill area , this has started to cause cracking of plaster in places . It’s a daily occurrence so can be viewed if required anytime . The road needs resurfacing .

Large potholes on station road, 11th January
Increasingly large potholes along Station Road between the A59 and the bend before the station. The have been here for months and are getting worse, they are dangerous trip hazard to pedestrians (there is no footpath so pedestrians use the road) and there is risk of damage to vehicles.

Hedges of two neighbouring properties are covering the footpath, 27th October
The hedges have overgrown grown significantly, pedestrians can't use the footpath. When vehicles servicing the same properties that own the hedges park on the road, pedestrians must walk on the road around the vehicles.

People using the lay-by for sexual activities and dumping rubbish, including condoms, used tissue etc, also fly tipping of furniture.

Two flat tyres immediately on going over ridge. Rescue service said that other cars had suffered same damage.

Bridge frame damaged due to accident 3years ago, 27th September
The framework was damaged by a vehicle collision 3years ago . The area has a plastic bollard with sandbags that wash on to the road when the floods come annually, and now is approaching the time when that happens. I keep reinstalling them but should not have to do this . There has been ample time to have this work done . If a car or motorcycle/cycle has cause to run into this it will be very serious

Pot holes, 23rd June
Many potholes on this lane from the A59 to nun monkton which have been marked out for repair many times. These are very dangerous to all users but especially motor cycles , and I believe they are the cause of needing many spring replacements to our vehicles

Potholed Pavement & Road, 24th January
The lowered pavement outside Fircroft, Station Road, Kirk Hammerton is badly potholed and the kerbstones damaged. On the road opposite are also a number of increasingly large potholes which are in need of repair. I would appreciate it if these could be repaired promptly.
