Abandoned Vehicle, 1st September
There is an abandoned vehicle, Vauxhall Zafira EA03ZYH, on Scate Moor Lane which is currently left in a ditch approx. 10yards away from the junction with the A59. It is not causing an obstruction but it's tyres are flat and windows are smashed. It has been there for at least 3 months and is showing as having no tax.

Missing road sign pointing to Whixley at junction of A59 and Clockhill Field Lane at Whixley Lodge., 30th January
The finger post road sign pointing to Whixley up Clockhill Field Lane off the A59 has been missing for about three years. It may have been removed by estate agents when they erected for sale signs relating to the adjacent field.
The missing sign has been reported, at least twice, by the Parish Council to NYCC Highways Department but nothing has been done. In bad road conditions and visibility it is quite easy to miss the turning and can be a hazard to traffic if a driver has to make a sudden turn having only just seen the junction.
Please may the sign be reinstated as soon as possible.
