There is a deep pothole on the left edge of the road on the westbound side. It is situated shortly after the right turn to Allerton and before the layby on the left heading towards the A1M roundabout. It could cause damage to cars and a serious motorbike accident

Red & white reflector posts, 10th December
Some of the reflectors are missing / damaged /dirty & this makes it quite difficult to identify this junction in the dark. This is an awkward junction on a fast road at the best of times. The junction is the Rudgate ? Boroughbridge road The signage has deteriorated over a period of months

Street sign, 3rd November
Confusion exists in that on one side of the road is a High Street sign - on the opposite side is no sign but all delivery / emergency services etc assume the 4 cottages there are High St. but they are in fact Vine Farm Close . Perhaps a suitably located dual street sign would solve the problem eg:
