Multiple potholes on the A59 east of Hessay, 25th February
There are multiple potholes between the roundabout where the A59 meets the A1237, and Hessay, in both directions. Some of the potholes are large enough to cause damage to tyrs and wheel rims if a vehicle hits them even below the speed limit. The worst of the potholes need to be repaired as soon as practically possible.

2 foot long pot hole, 15th February
Large pot hole on Main Street, Poppleton, near to the end of Riversvale Drive (currently disguised as a puddle) on the field.side of the road, next to a drainage grate. It has caused the grate to become mis-aligned and a chunk of tarmac next to it is broken and sticking up. A couple of cars in the village have already suffered damage do to catching the wheels in the dark.

Foot wide pot hole, three or 4 inches deep just before Easthorpe Drive on left side as you COME INTO Nether Poppleton from ring road, 12th January
This pothole has been getting bigger and is lethal on a bike as it is about a foot from the kerb, exactly where a cyclist position is. There is also a smaller pothole near to it.

It’s an accident waiting to happen, parking opposite a drive making it hard to reverse or drive out of your drive, bus stop, day nursery staff parking & parents dropping children off & picking them up. A busy road with traffic speeding being impatient when a bus stops and traffic trying to pass the bus, this is cars, tractor's & large vehicles using the road.

Car parking in front of my front gate., 2nd November
02/11/23. Car parked in front of my gate. Warning notice on gate. Very close to my car parked in adjacent slot. Had to walk around to other side of car to get out of my property. This is my only access to front door. It is not a parking slot. It happens regularly with different car's. Road markings worn . It is very annoying.

Speeding traffic and illeagal parking on millfield Lane, 21st June
There is a nursery school for young children on Millfield Lane. Currently there is no indication that young children are likely to be coming out of cars and there is no hazard line as there are outside schools with 20mph being require. This is an accident waiting to happen as cars come speeding round the corner into standing traffic.
