Footpath being dug up Pickering yo18, 8th August
A local resident has excavated and blocked a footpath and is obstructing the road with equipment this started on Saturday and he has been causing chaos since, I think he is trying to put a drive in but I’m sure he has not obtained permission and is certainly not qualified to dig up a public footpath and alter the road curb stones I think someone should come and take a look before he causes an accident The address is 55 manor drive Pickering Yo18 8DD Many thanks

The speeds bump need topping off around them as there is a two inch lip on dome of them, also where I’ve dropped the pin, there a large deep pot hole around the metal manhole leaving a sharp edge, 21st March
This seem to have started last year but they didn’t top off around all the speed bumps and the pothole around the manhole has been like it for over 6 months now, these are outside the school

Cars parking on the pavement from dales to thomas., 4th February
Car is parked there frequently for days on end, I have spoke to the wardens, but they say they can't do anything as it's not on the road. They told me the police have to deal with it. I have asked the police on their 48hr reply helpline three times since last year, but haven't had a reply from them. I noticed the slabs in the manhole covers are cracking up again.

Water collects and stands in large puddles Traffic causes water to wash over garden walls and pavements. Drains are not clearing water as the puddles do not run towards the drains. This problem has been reported for several years and photos have been sent but nothing has been done

Huge pot holes all the way down the road on the industrial estate. Nearly caused an accident today with cars swerving to avoid them. they have been like this a long time and i think they've been fixed temporarily several times.

Dog Fowling, 3rd December
After complaining and reporting the problem still continues. Dog owners are using this area to let their dogs fowl and don't pick it up because they think that they cannot be seen. Please help

Confusing abandoned bus stops, 10th March
There are two (at least) old bus stops on Westgate, which are proving confusing to visitors, twice I have had to tell waiting people that the bus runs along Middleton Road.

This hole is getting bigger everyday with the tractors and lorries driving over it. It is making cars swerve onto oncoming traffic to avoid the hole

Road not wide enough to take traffic. Grass verges all churned up., 17th February
As the road narrows on this part of westgate vehicles are having to pull onto the grass/kerb to avoid being hit. Many lorries/large vehicles actually mount the pavement on the opposite side. Many curb stones have been hit and various accidents. We have rutted, large holes and either this area needs to be paved ,or special plastic put down to stop the grass turning into a mud bath. This has been going on for many years it is dangerous as well and looking very unsightly. I am surprised no one has slipped on the mud and into the holes causing injuries.
