Road closed signage and traffic cone forgotten, 18th April
After some roadworks more than a month ago a metal road closed signage and traffic cone have been left on the pavement. With the recent strong winds these are pushed on the road etc and pedestrians are moving them back on the pavement in the hope these will be collected. Can you send someone to collect before they cause an accident?

Road congestion, 18th October
The traffic is coming to a standstill on the road during rush hour. It serves schools and the hospital and means people are not able to get the care they need. It took over 90 minutes yesterday evening to get down the road and was the same this morning. It seems to be an issue with the traffic lights changing too fast. Something needs to be done to fix this or temporary measures put in place during rush hour to help with traffic flow.

Road signs, 7th October
Virtually all road signs in scarb area either got mould on them and in poor condition. Happy to do this as a full time job if you supply a van and a power washer. The entire North Yorkshire area would be impeccable if I did it - thanks

Two loose metal manhole covers., 24th September
The banging noise of two manhole covers, as traffic passes over them, was reported to the council many weeks ago. The almost constant banging on this busy road has become very irritating and appears to have got much worse. The manhole covers are situated very close to the sitting rooms of four particular properties. There has been a suggestion of hammering a wedge into the covers !

Accident waiting to happen, 23rd June
Blind corner, and residents are just parking there making it awkward to get out of my drive, also the corner is a walled corner so you can’t see what is coming around the corner. It’s an accident waiting to happen.

All cars and properties blocked on the left side of Hampton road in Scarborough North Yorkshire. Workmen blocking cars in and working around them. No identifiable vans or workwear might be Grain as they are supposed to be working in the area., 13th June
Hello On the top left hand side of Hampton Road in Scarborough, North Yorkshire all cars have been blocked in with work barriers and equipment. The entire pavement is also blocked. The workmen are also preventing the refuse workers from emptying residents bins. Unsure where they are from as nothing identifiable but Grain are supposed to be working in the area soon. No thought given to residents access to pathways or vehicles. Not sure if the council have approved as it looks like a very dodgy set up.

Abandoned car., 27th May
Red Skoda KV18GWD left approx 5 months ago. Saw the driver, looked "shifty" as walked away, looking around to see if observed. Last saw anyone at car over 2 months ago, late evening went to kitchen, saw same man with another car backed up, transfering things from boots. He saw me as I put light on, and was off before I could get phone to take a photo. What is also odd, is that there is grafitti all along the other side of the car. Not sure if it was on when the car was left, but if that was someones car, surly they would be not choosing to ignore it ? The car looks worth owning from this side.
