The district is also home to numerous cultural attractions, including Alnwick Castle (used as the location for Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films), the Bowes Museum (which houses a world-class art and artefacts collection) and Hexham Abbey, a beautiful 12th-century church. TD15 also contains the National Park Visitor Centre and Cheviots Outdoor Activity Centre, providing visitors with the chance to explore the area even further.

The TD15 postcode area is well served by transport links, with the A68 running through the area, and public bus services linking the main towns and villages in the area. There is a wide variety of places to stay in the area, from small bed and breakfasts to large 4-star hotels.
