The surrounding rural areas offer a mixture of agricultural land, woodland and moorland. Farming is an important industry in this area, with numerous small farms spread throughout the TA24 postcode district.
The villages of Over Stowey, West Quantoxhead and Roadwater offer an attractive mix of country pubs, local shops, antique stores, tearooms, cafes and galleries. They also provide ample opportunity for walking, cycling and horse riding in the beautiful countryside scenery.
