Fallen Tree and bushes impeding the slip road, 22nd March
There is a fallen tree, plus bushes, that's impeding the highway. The tree needs removing and the brushes need cutting back hard from the highway.they force larger vehicles to cross the white line, into oncoming traffic, to avoid damage to their vehicles.

Downed trees and trip hazards., 22nd March
The whole length of the foot path, from the crash barriers at Cartgate roundabout if in a terrible condition. You have downed trees across the footpath in the full length of the pavement, Branches all the way, along the pavement, plus plants growing out of the pavement.
To negotiate the journey on foot or bicycle is so dangerous. The issue is both sides of the A3088 from the barriers at Cartgate roundabout to the traffic lights at the throughabout as you reach Yeovil.

Trees / hedges encroaching into road, 10th March
The trees / hedge is badly encroaching into the highway. It's that bad that it force's you over the white line, into on coming vehicles. If you don't it'll damage your vehicle. Which is the case with my vehicle. It's damaged my mirror and paint work.
It needs cutting back hard.
You also can't see the 30mph sign. As it's lost in the hedging.
If you can't address this matter ,can you serve notice to the landowner to address this matter please.

Broken Hydrant post, 6th February
The cement post that indicates where the hydrant is, at the end of higher street, on the W side of Back lane, has been driven into and smashed. There were bits of lamp glass there - from the "attacker" presumably. Needs some TLC.

3ft wide pothole on A3088, when joining A303, 4th February
This pothole had been present for a number of months. It is about 3' wide and a number of inches deep. The danger is compounded as traffic often swerves to avoid. There is a second large (growing) pothole on the opposite side of the road when traffic leaves the A303.

On the A3088 approach to the A303 there is a need to mark the right lane as right turn only. I regularly use the left lane to go straight ahead and almost always when busy some use the right lane to turn left as they assume you are also going left. Please investigate.
