Due to major road works and extremely frequent heavy lorries a man hole has become loose. It is unstable and a safety hazard for motorcycles., 23rd March
The problem is a man hole cover on the B4039 adjacent to Blacksmiths close in the village of Yatton Keynell. The problem has arisen as a result of the roadworks and heavy lorries used as part of the Solar Farm project at Castle Coombe. The cover is loose due to the surrounding road structure becoming degraded. The problem has been present for three weeks. The noise is extremely disturbing as vehicles drive over the cover. However, more importantly the structure is unstable and I fear it could cause a motorcycle accident. The B4039 is a busy road and if the problem is fixed as a matter of urgency I would appreciate it.

Blocked road drain, 25th July
The drain is blocked by debris and soil and now weeds are covering the top. When it rains a huge puddle forms and the traffic causes water to splash right up to our front door. This eventually clears to leave behind a filthy path along the front of our house. We have recently moved here and talking to the neighbours this problem has been here for years. Help appreciated.
