Street lights are intermittent (pair), 27th February
Previously reported as Herts County Council ticket 401003893440
2 street lights - outside 98 and outside 102 Cowper Road. These street lights are intermittent - works some nights, flash sometimes, other nights total darkness. Dark stretch is therefore several hundred yards. Neighbours are expressing their fear of walking on the street at night. Lights do work sometimes. Not sure if rain-related. 2 lights working together or not working together so connected in someway. Previously looked at (thank you) by Hcc highways and power company but ticket resolved in January. Unfortunately problem still persists. Please help us make our street safe

Cars being left by car trader, 24th February
A car trader is leaving cars, up to 4 at a time on the left hand side as you drive into the close. The cars are advertised on Autotrader. Numerous cars disappear only for new ones to appear. Some of the cars have auction numbers written on them. Mix of no car tax/MOT. None of the cars have insurance or have trade plates. It’s a complete nuisance and is an obstruction.

No Lighting, 12th February
This is a heavily used footbridge between a main residential area, 2 secondary schools and an NHS site on one side, and the town centre on the other. Currently there is no lighting. This makes it unusable for many people in the winter afternoons, and creates excessive danger due to the uneven steps causing a trip hazard. Installing an illuminated handrail on the steps on both sides would be a huge improvement to safety and the local community. Given there is a power supply for street lighting immediately next to the bridge on both sides, the engineering effort should be low and there would be no track impact. Can this be considered please? It would be a valuable benefit currently especially given all the disruption caused by Midland Mainline Electrification works.
