Unsafe Street sign - broken from post, 7th April
There is a dangerously unsafe street sign which has come loose from the metal post. It needs to be fixed to avoid falling on a pedestrian (or child!!) on the footpath below. It is also located near of a busy traffic roundabout- to avoid a vehicle collision . (Please note: the photo uploaded doesn’t show the sign dislodged because it is a historic screenshot from Google maps).

Whole area disintegrating, 5th April
HCC say they have inspected this and not necessary to repair. I must question how recently this has been inspected as for a major junction the road surface is in terrible dangerous condition.

Potholes first reported Autumn 2023!! At various points along the road between What3Words locations forget-hiking-cowboy and oils-map-method., 3rd April
I and others have previously reported this issue over the last 6 months. See FixMyStreet refs 5214592, 5215490, 5791251 & 5687216. Thank You to the person who filed the last one-I have used your photo. As I have commented in my previous report, do we really have to wait for somebody to be seriously injured, or worse, before the Council does something? Or is the cost of using taxpayers' funding to settle claims for vehicle damage seen as a cheaper option than doing the repair in the first place?? I seem to recall similar potholes along the same road between Cooters End Lane and Thrales End Lane were patched in early Autumn last year. Beats me why these weren't done at the same time but what do I know, I'm just a taxpayer.

Pothole developing, 2nd April
Looks to be a failed repair that needs sorting permanently. Catches NS wheels or swerve in to middle of road to avoid it which on a corner isn’t a good idea.

Steps upto Ambrose Lane from the Nickey Line - concrete step loose, 27th March
One of the concrete steps in this top flight up from the Nickey Line rocks. Most of the steps have a rotten wooden front facia but this concrete fault seems dangerous and rocks each time someone goes up/down. The handrails seem fine.
