Dangerous and unlawful actions, 17th April
This motorist has driven and parked on the pavement on double yellows lines and facing oncoming traffic, then is using the steps on the side of the vehicle to unload, but in doing so he is actually unloading into the middle and the opposite side of the road making it difficult for other motorists to get past. How are businesses supposed to get there goods when there are no loading bays, the road has been narrowed making it hard for large vehicle's to pass each other and now with the pedestrian area large vehicle's are being forced to use smaller roads and junctions meaning they have to mount and drive across the pavements just to get there vehicle's around the very tight corners they are being forced to use. This is unacceptable of sheffield city council that needs investigating and solutions put in place.

Dangerous, disgusting and unsafe actions., 17th April
The worker's in the photos are using blowers to blow debris including wet moss, weeds, litter and also gravel, grit and glass off the raised pavement, through the railings on to the road. When confronted they explained that a road sweeper was comming to collect the mess on the road. Why are motorists expected to drive through the mess/debris that could cause damage to a vehicle's paintwork are puncture a vehicle tyre. On driving past and through the mess on the road my vehicle was sprayed with debris with a large amount entering my vehicle through my open window hitting myself, my passenger and covering parts of the inside of my vehicle. We were both hit in the side of our faces with debris being blown off the pavements at high speed by the force of the blower, luckily my passenger (my wife) was wearing her glasses and I myself had sunglasses on so nothing went in our eyes. In these circumstances what is wrong with a sweeping brush and a bit of consideration for the safety of the general public not just the quickest and laziest way of doing the job. I want a full investigation and risk assessment in to how this has been allowed to happen and who is ultimately responsible as action needs taking immediately to avoid incidents like this.
