S20 is a postcode district in the Sheffield district of South Yorkshire, England. It covers the east side of the River Rother, and the south side of the Peak District National Park and parts of the city centre. The area includes Sheffield areas like Darnall, Handsworth, Richditch, Tinsley, Woodseats, Woodhouse and Mosborough.

The postcode district was split from the S11 postcode district in 1989, and later divided in 2003 to create the S8 postcode district. The area consists of a number of council wards, including Mosborough, Handsworth, Woodhouse, Richmond, Woodseats, Tinsley and Brightside. It lies on the south side of the M1 motorway, and has good links to the M18, A1(M) and A6109.

The area is around six miles from the centre of Sheffield and has good transport links, with the area being served by numerous bus services and with Sheffield Supertram's Yellow Line being the main provider of public transport. It is home to the accredited football stadium of Sheffield United and the Sheffield Arena, and contains several popular parks and recreational services, as well as residential, industrial and commercial areas.

The area is home to a range of cultural and educational centres, retail parks, and leisure and medical facilities, including the Bassetlaw Hospital and the old Cumberland Infirmary. It has a variety of shops and amenities, including pubs, clubs, restaurants, and convenience stores. The Meadowhall Shopping Centre is also situated nearby, offering a wide range of shopping and leisure activities.

The S20 postcode district has a diverse population and includes the highest percentage (just over 40%) of people born outside of the UK in the city of Sheffield. It is one of the city's more affordable districts and has good transport links to the city centre and nearby towns and cities. It is well connected to the UK motorway network, with accessible links to the M1, A1(M) and M18.
