No safe crossing point in a sensible location, 23rd June
I work at Mark Roberts Motion Control with about a 100 other people plus others from another buisness at same location. I like to walk to work but dont because it is almost impossible to cross the road at peak times due to constant heavy traffic. There is a traffic island down the road that does not seem to serve any purpose other than a refuge crossing for a bus stop pretty much in the middle of nowhere. I cant walk down to the island to cross the road because there is is no pavement. Why cant the island be moved to outside the buisness park where I work? There is a bus stop here too, possible the bus stop by the Petrol station could be closed and the island moved up here to be more useful? The shop at the petrol staion is the only one in the area so a lot of people from my work do go there for lunch stuff etc. so would also use the crossing island.
