Flooded road, 11th January
This road is flooded between the edge of the village and the Seven Barrows turning. The water is unable to drain from the road as the drainage ditches and gullies have been neglected. The water is trapped in the road. As the road through Eastbury is closed the only way to get to Wantage is an 8 mile diversion through Ashbury. I have lived in Lambourn for over 30 years and this road has flooded with groundwater a few times but never as deep as this because the ditches weren't blocked. Please look into this ASAP.

Fallen tree blocking byway, 10th January
It's around 300mm dia and firmly fixed in both sides so more than I could manage with my little wire saw! Needs a chain saw or a very big axe. Access via the byway would need good 4x4 capability but the private track beside it is much better, but is private. A 'normal' van/small truck can get as far as Hangman's Stone via the UCR (green dots)
